Leon Rossouw: Database Consultant

Leon Rossouw is currently employed as an Oracle Database Consultant at RDB Consulting. He’s an 11g Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and one of his key areas of expertise is Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Leon has extensive database administration experience and has been working on Oracle Databases and Applications since 2007. What he enjoys most about working in the IT industry is the learning opportunities that come along with each new technology that becomes available.

As a Database Consultant, Leon is tasked with implementing and upgrading new database systems. Leon forms part of a team that is based at MTN, a client of RDB Consulting. He also manages to ensure maximum uptime of databases, which means he is responsible for regular database analysis, database health checks and general database consulting.

Leon has an IT Engineering Diploma from CTI and he is a natural problem solver. His ability think outside of the box and apply new solutions has made him an invaluable member of the team.

Besides IT, databases and technology, Leon enjoys running and spending time outdoors.
